Although all of our items are either stainless steel, 18k plated, 14k plated, gold plated, rose gold plated, silver plated, rhodium plated and other mixed metals/materials, if not worn with care it'll lose its plating in course of time. Contact with finger imprints, perfume, oil, cosmetics, sweat, moisture/humidity etc can cause tarnishing over time.

Our tips for longer lasting wear is to never sleep nor shower/bathe with jewelry that isn't atleast stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic, non-tarnishable, and sweat resistant. Always put your jewelry on after your makeup and hair is completely set and finished. Keep your jewelry stored in cool/dry spaces within your personal jewelry storage.
